Review Policy

Update 12/3/2012: Please note that this review policy has been updated in order to accommodate myself and this blog. Requests are always open, however the terms have changed. Please read all of this policy before contacting me.

For the majority, I review YOUNG ADULT AND NEW ADULT FICTION books. At the moment, I am open to receive hard copies (ARC's, hardcovers, paperbacks), limited digital copies and self-published works.

HOWEVER, like everything in this world, there are always exceptions to every rule. My exceptions to my own policy are as follows:

• I will review a middle grade or adult title if it fits into the genres that I enjoy most. (These will be listed below.)
• I will accept a digital copies from publishers, or if the book is on NetGalley.
• I will accept self-published works from authors I have already established a relationship with.
• I will accept a self-published book if it is a hard copy and/or it sounds like something that I would thoroughly enjoy. 

Genres and sub-genres that I enjoy most include, but are not limited to:

• Chick-Lit
• Contemporary
• Paranormal
• Paranormal Romance
• Urban Fantasy\
• Science Fiction
• Horror [Limited]

If I accept a review request, I do not guarantee an immediate review. What I do guarantee is that, unless the book was a DNF, I will read the book in a timely manner and post a review within the same time frame. ARC reviews are always posted around the time of the book's release. All other books will be reviewed in the order that they are received - publisher requests taking precedence over all other requests.  Books that I purchase for my own entertainment will also be read in accordance to the time of their purchase.

I will always make time for blog tour dates and/or if a review needs to be posted on a specific date. If your review request falls under either of these circumstances, please let me know in your correspondence so I can schedule it as such.

Reviews will always be posted on my blog. If the book is a new release that has been released within the past six months or is a future release, it will also be posted on:

• Barnes & Noble
• Books-A-Million
• Borders
• Goodreads
• LibraryThing
• Shelfari
